Does anyone know how many palm swell grips did S&W make for the FBI 1076? I have 4 sets of grips for it. I large palm swell and one about half that size one a little smaller and one straight which is on the gun right now.
Thanks

I have 4 one on the gun is not pictured. Is it pretty rare to have all of them with the gun?
Thanks Bryan

I thought there was only one grip that was considered a palm swell. The other options were straight and curved neither of which were palm swell. I didn't know there was another more moderate palm swell.

I don't know that much about it either other than it was a family members gun who is a retired FBI agent. It came in the factory box marked FBI Academy and the other side says used gun S&W. Also came with the 4 sets of grips 17 magazines 20 magazine replacement springs. 6 boxes of federal 10c classic rounds one box of Winchester Western sample c marked for law enforcement only and one box of federal xm100A. I was told the box marked Winchester Western sample c is super rare and very few were ever made trying to develop a load for the gun.

It would be interesting if you had a prototype grip not available to the general public. You should post a picture of your pistol.

By all means post a picture of the grips for study! As poste there were only three grips listed by S&W.
Than ammo begs to be documented for history sake!

Ha Shadow how are you? I know you want to do the break down but just cant bring myself to do it will try to get some pictures of the grips posted.
Thank you sir Bryan

S&W 1076 Grips And Ammo

Here is a picture of the grips and ammo obviously the straight grips are on the gun. The one on the right with the biggest swell middle not much and the one on the left with the least. For give my photos buy very old camera. Winchester Western marked sample "C" for law enforcement only restricted sales and of course the Federal XM100A. I talked to a gentlemen with Winchester Yesterday and he said that box was a super rare find.
Thanks Bryan
