S&W 13-4 PCM13 Lew Horton 3 inch

I was out at my local range and one of the patrons brings out this S&W model 13-4 PCM13 Lew Horton. He was kind enough to let me take a few shots with it, well now I want one. There is one currently listed on a well known auction site but its $2600 ugh.

Any suggestions on an alternative that is a bit more economical? Maybe a 586 Comp L?

Just picked up a 27-2 in 3 1/2" yesterday for far less money. More bulky but very pretty. Otherwise maybe a regular M13 in three inch.

Get a Model 65 Lady Smith; same gun in stainless steel, minus the porting and Performance Center massage.

M13 4'' have it cut down to 3'';but I like mine in 4'' and it'll stay as is.
