Model 29 Classic and Classic DX models were round butted, barrel lengths were 5", 6 1/2" and 8 3/8".
Also, there have been M29 Mountain guns, 4" slender barreled guns with RB gripframes.
Yes, there have been plenty of Model 29's that are round butt, some specific models, and if you look at anything made after ~1996 timeframe, you'll find most were round butt guns.
