I'm too full of turkey to accomplish anything so I took a gander into the back of my safe and pulled out this. A buddy had bought it, thinking it was a 38 Special, from an FFL handling an estate. I bought it from him so he could go back and get a Model 60. Had it a while.

Thought I'd show it to you all and get a little practice at uploading photos. Any idea what this is might be worth today. It was sold as NIB and came with papers, cleaning accessories in plastic, and wrapped in S&W wax paper.

I have a few of these and prices vary a lot on them. Does your have an "R" Serial prefix? That would be 1969/1974. "R" guns seem to be the least expensive.

I'm picking up a new in the box 32-1 that was made in 1961/62 tomorrow afternoon. The guy has had it for sale for over a year. He started at $700.00 and each month he has dropped it a little and I have been waiting him out. I will be paying $425.00

The 38 S&W cartridge is not very popular. And the pricing on these reflex that. People will usually always pay more for say a model 36 in 38 Special. It is just the way it is. I bought my first model 32 by mistake and like most things Smith & Wesson once you have one you soon have another and then another.

If you ever think about selling it PM me.

I was wondering about when it was made. It is pretty. Its the only nickle revolver I have. I like J and I frame Smiths. Reckon I didn't get hurt on the price.
