Hi There,

I just received the following S&W .32 CF SA. I'm not sure if the
box is correct. One thing in the box was a small sheet showing
how ammo for these revolvers should be made.

Cheers!
Webb

Webb, the box is correct for your .32 SA. The last line of the box top directions is the clue. "This pistol has the patent Automatic Rebounding Lock."

Hi There,

Thanks for the reply. Here are a couple of of more pics. My other
.32 CF SA's boxes have a maroon cloth exterior and this box has
a green covering. Also, my other boxes have an additional piece
of cardboard that forms the interior into three triangular com-
partments; the larger of the three forms the compartment for
the revolver itself. This green box doesn't have this divider and
I wonder if it should have one.

Cheers!
Webb

I have seen boxes in brown (dark russet?), maroon (red) and green. None had a divider. Box end labels seem to be hit or miss. Factory made wood boxes had the dividers, but the vendor supplied pasteboard ones may or may not have them.
