S&W 34-1 D.O.B. needed

Hello All I just purchased a really sweet 4" flat latch , 34-1.Before I call S&W can anyone tell me the date of birth . Serial number 94812 . Thank you all , SemperFi , JJ

This 764xx was 1963 so...I guess just extrapolate an extra 20,000 run. Not sure how much that would be but someone probably does.

4th edition says 70000 started in 1960 and 101087 in 1965. These are listed as approx ship dates.
