I hope you enjoy your 4054. The 4054s are great shooters and easy on the hand. Yours looks like it was babied.
Both of mine have low round counts, so I take my 4053 to the range and leave the 54s in the safe. I carry mine IWB in a Don Hume H715-M WCS holster. Again, Enjoy!

IMO the S&W 4054's are very desirable! If you can find one! I have 3 of them....in 2024 $$....depending on condition/case etc I would estimate $800-1200

I have (1) also, ANIB in the kraft paper with all paperwork. Ordered and sold to customer in early 90's, traded back in a week for something else. (he was a good customer) its been in the back of the safe for 30+ years.
I need to turn my "unique high worth collectibles" into more common meat and potato stuff my heirs can deal with. (i would rather have 3/4 boxed gen 3's any flavor) vs (1) -1 of 154- 4054.

I'd never sell my two for that price. IIRC, one in fair condition sold on GB a few months ago for less than $550. That was the first one I saw offered in the past two years. Hope this helps.
