Hello Folks,
I recently traded for a very nice A-prefix Model 41 5". It has been drilled and tapped for a red-dot base, back near the rear sight. Not a factory job. i would like to mount a Docter holograph on it, but am unaware how to find the proper sized base for the two holes that exist on top of the slide. If I measure the distance, center-to-center, can someone tell me what # Weaver base will fit it? Anyone have a chart showing the distances? Or is this a matter of finding a box of mounts and matching them up (ugh)?
Thanks for your help!

Plan on having to drill at least one new hole in the base. The biggest problem is trying to get the base profile to match the shape of the barrel extension. Once you find one that fits, it would be unusual if both mounting holes matched. But, you might get lucky and find that needle. :)

I did this exercise on a Hy-Score Model 815 air pistol (a Diana Werk rebrand). Turns out that an H&R Topper base fits perfectly.
