S&W 459 Date of Manufacture

Hello all,

I picked up an immaculate 459 today and I was curious how old it is. It has the squared off trigger guard. Serial number is TBB0194. Thanks for any help!

If I email them with the serial and model number, would they tell me where a 6906 was shipped to, from the factory?

My guess is summer of 1987… like June, July or August.

They will not tell you to where it was shipped with either an e-mail or phone call, however they will if you request and pay for a factory letter.
