I have the 60-15 pro and the 60-14, love them both and carry one or the other daily. both handle full load 357's great. some folks don't like the recoil, but my first revolver when I was younger was a 454. I like the recoil

Perfectly balanced, perfectly proportioned, very accurate. Can shoot .38's in it all day long. Probably my favorite J frame.

And it can do this at 25 yards:

Love the 60 Pro. Overall quality is excellent. I find the stock wood grips comfortable.

Almost exclusively shoot .38 +P.

My 70 year old mother-in-law wanted to try shooting at the range. First time ever firing a gun. I was helping her with my 63 shooting .22LR. She quickly became bored and wanted to shoot what I had, which was the 60 and a 640. She has fibromyalgia and I wasn't sure. She was actually very good with safety and handling. I had her dry fire a few times with the 60. Only had UMC .38 +P. Tried SA first, then DA to my amazement. She went through 10 rounds of +P! I think it's a testament to how well this revolver handles.

My only complaint is the trijicon sight was dim from day one. Not a big deal, but seems to be common on this model.

My experience is with a non-Performance Center 60-15 with 3" barrel. In the past few weeks I've shot a few hundred rounds. I would rate the general quality as excellent and it shoots extremely well double and single action. .357's in this small package give impressive, but not overly harsh, recoil and .38 specials are a pleasure. I highly recommend this model.

Can you feeler guage the barrel/ cylinder gap? I am told it varies considerably.

My 60-15 3 in HB shoots well, with 357 handloads shooting very accurately, and not bad on the receiving end either. Like it.

My all time favorite trail gun that often gets used for ccw in more populated areas. When carrying in the backcountry of West, it gets loaded with Buffalo Bore 180 grain hard cast .357s. Otherwise, I carry it with 125 grain Golden Sabers, a rather mild .357 load. This is a very accurate and shootable handgun. Absolutely one of my favorite Smiths.
