For some reason I just did'nt like the JM grips that came with my 625JM. So after trying some Pachmayers & Hogues, I was able to hold a 329 at a local shop and liked the feel of the Ahrends Factory Grip. So I obtained a pair of Ahrend RB to SB conversion grips and really like them on this revolver.

Well Torakan, I went exactly the same route after handling a 629 in a LGS here in Oregon!
I had already ditched the JM stocks and had Hogues on my 625 and 21-4. New stocks arrived today and I had just imaged them on my 21-4. As soon as I can get (afford) more, all my S&Ws will get the same ones.

Aren't those so nice to shoot with, control, not bad recoil, and they look great :D. I have those and the round butt model.

Ahrends grips have become my absolute favorites. Here's a set of their Retro Combats in cordia on my 627 UDR.

My friend Mike gave me his Ahrend's off of a 329. I put them on a 3" 629 and they look great. The gun made my hand bleed, but the grips were great.
