I have a 629 44 Mag no dash 1 6'' Barrel recessed cylinder not pinned SN N897XXX. What is the real market value in todays without case and paperwork?

Welcome to the Forum. Most of the premium for the 629 no dash guns is in the 4 inch P&R version. I would expect to see one as you've described where I shop priced at around $1000-$1200. Good luck.

Any S&W 629 pre lock with 6" barrel is a $1000 gun in my neighborhood. The 8 3/8" will bring $1200, 4" most likely $1300, and the 3" $1400 to $1500. All of this depends on the grips the gun carries and any extras, like the original box and papers, which can move the price up or down $100 to $300 rather quickly. Just my experiences.

Sold my 629-1 { 8 3'8" bbl. } about a year ago...$1025. Had original box, papers, target grips.
