I just purchased a pre-owned 64-2 ss 2" snubbie from a dealer in near mint condition for $299 (no box or papers). Is this a fair price? The s/n is ADP3984-does anyone know the year of manufacture?

Holy moly what a deal!!!! That is way better than a fair price!! Don't have the book with me, but I'll guess early to mid 80s. Someone will be along with the info.

You paid a great price for a VERY desirable gun. $500 would seem to be the absolute floor for this gun today, perhaps even higher. My snub 64 dates back to 1977 and is not for sale.
