Recently aquired a model 657 Mountain. Apparently it had rattled around in someone's sandy glove box for years. It had lots of shallow scratches that easily polished out. I shows very little evidence of being fired much, smooth action, tight lockup. Im in love with it.
Back in '89 I purchased a new 629 pre lock Mountain. It was my carry gun in the woods of Central Alaska. Regrettably I sold it as I left Alaska.
I also have a 625 Mountain chambered in 45 Colt.

I received a 41 Mountain Gun for my college graduation (thanks dad!). It is one of my all-time favorites. I have been extraordinarily lucky and found 2 more in the wild. They sit with my 44 Mag and 45 Colt MG's.

Pictures? Before and after

I cannot stand people who disrespect any nice piece of equipment; especially a work of art like a really nice old Smith revolver.
That dude deserves a life sentence of having to own nothing but Glocks.

I don't have a 41M. But I'd buy one in a heartbeat if I found a nice one.

Love .41 mags. Bought a 57 no dash on this forum a few years ago and love it. Just bought a new in the box Ruger Bisley Hunter in 41 mag, and should see it later this week.
