S&W 669 at local show

Purchased a 669 at a local show to "replace" a blue 469 I regret selling 20 years ago. Serial number: TBB2XXX.
Already had some limited range time with it. Shot great.
It was the only S&W 2nd or 3rd gen at the show.
Have ordered a couple of spare mags and already had a holster that fits it.

I don't see a lot of Smith semi's at my local show either, so I guess you're in good company. My 669 came as shown from a Forum member some years ago and I have no complaints. I was able to pick up more mags shortly after. I've always wondered if both models originally came with blued magazines or just the 469. Maybe the later 669's came with the SS magazines with single left side witness hole?
