Dang, those of us on the wrong side of the Iron Curtain here in Kaliforniastan are jealous! All stainless classic with three 15 round mags for $300? Unbelievable!

This came in today at the shop. It was pretty crusty, greasy crud inside. The old nasty Hogue grips looked like they were disintegrating, I dislike Hogue grips.

After a full, detailed 1 hour ultrasonic cleaning, it looks pretty good now. I have a good stash of factory S&W grips and the old Hogue grips were thrown into the trash and factory grips were installed.

Still has a bit of "old" on the finish, I'll do another complete disassembly and hit it with some 4/0 steel wool and oil sometime this summer.

For a little more than $300 and some elbow grease, this is a pretty good deal overall.
