S&W being sold???

I was at a gun show in Las Vegas and a vendor told me that George Sorris (dont know if spelled right) was trying to buy S&W and just close it down. He is anti-gun. Anyone else heard about this???

So you have heard about High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program HAARP.:rolleyes: The Chinese are also looking into it they call theirs Chinese Active Auroral Research Program CAARP:D. I think theirs is fishy though.:D

They have had partial weather control for years but are having problems with the rain part. I think the CIA call it HVAC.:D

As for JFK I heard Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis took the suicide gun and turned it in for a gun buy back program.:eek:It was a Smith & Wesson Model 40 Centennial Revolver.:p
 
Which I could afford to buy S&W. First thing I'd do is eliminate the I/L's and send them to Soros & Bloomie for their drawers full of money. Maybe when they want to open the draw it wouldn't........ HA HA! :)

You got that slightly wrong. It's actually Chinese Research in Active Auroras Program.

By the way, Jimmy Hoffa and Amelia Earhart are living together in a retirement community in Acapulco.

The weather machine exists. Just how effective it is at this point is not very clear. It may or may not work very well. However, everyone knows that JR shot JFK. Duh!

correct .. he wouldn't shut down firearms manufacturers, even though he very easily could.
Thing is, his life choices lead to his own need for heavily armed security. It would not be in the interest of himself, nor his empire to kill off his security blanket.
 
I heard the same thing. I also heard that he is going to send all S&W employees to FEMA camps so that they can't start up a new company.

S&W is a publicly traded company. I know that there was a concerted effort to get stock holders to divest themselves of their shares in an attempt to drop the value of the company. S&W has also been buying up shares of their own company lately. I'd guess that they are doing this in an attempt to keep someone else from buying enough shares to take control of the company. THAT is something that some like Soros would do. If he could get himself on the board of directors of the corporation due to the volume of shares he owns, he could influence corporate decisions and probably still make money on the stock.

So, there might be a grain of truth to the rumor, but certainly not in the form of him paying cash to buy the whole company.
 
Smith & Wesson craftsmanship by any other name would be as fun to shoot.

If somebidy bought S&W and closed it dien the demand would still be there and somebody would fill it.

If it were true? I would sell-take the money-and go start another Gun Manufacturing Company-maybe two?. :D
 
If Soros(or Bloomberg, Gates, or other anti) actually wanted to buy the company, money would not be an issue for him. S&W would be pocket change.
He's after bigger fish, ie the USA.

I preferred the book, but did enjoy the movie. Probably have watched it a half dozen or so times.
