A pet peeve of mine (it may be an illness) is when one does not know the name of a firearm and then posting questions or solutions about it. But all along are speaking of a different firearm.
The S&W .380's are such a firearm. Which one are you talking about? There is the S&W Bodyguard .380. Then there is the S&W M&P Bodyguard .380. There is also the S&W Bodyguard 2.0. And there is the EZ line but that is usually not thrown into the mix as easily as the others are.
Currently S&W makes the S&W M&P Bodyguard .380 and the S&W Bodyguard 2.0, a .380 which is not in the M&P lineup. To make a post about the "old Bodyguard" causes one to recall to mind the S&W Bodyguard .380 that is no longer made. To remark about the new Bodyguard .380 can cause one to wonder if it is the newer M&P Bodyguard or the even newer but separate model called the Bodyguard 2.0. Oh the humanity! Oh the confusion.
