S&W Bodyguard .380

I took it down but now unable to get slide to go all the way forward after replacing takedown pin. Barrel seems to drop down and be loose when slide is place back to rear .

I am new to pistols and this weapon. Any ideas what is wrong?

The take down pin is not in the slot in the barrel lug. Pull the pin back out, line up the barrel put the pin back in.

Thanks That was the problem. I had been pulling the slide to the rear. This time I just line up the pin with slide closed and lined barrel as you suggested and it works fine.
