I've been looking at some CS45's recently. LNIB seems to be bringing close to $600. Lightly used with two mags seems to bring 475 to 550. Although I've seen a few WELL USED examples on the gun auction boards with 500 opening bids. I guess optimists sell guns too. ;) :)

Id say that example, with aftermarket night sights, if it comes with box and 2 mags, is worth 500 locally. Maybe 525 shipped. Hope this helps! Regards 18DAI

based on what I have sen in looking for them lately, I would say $500-$600 is normal, but I waited for a deal when I got mine, $375.

I think it is a way overpriced gun in general.

I shot a magazine and was not impressed at all, and it was broken in too.

If I did get one, like ffr1910, I would be waiting for a heck of a deal. In absolutely no hurry at all to get one.

thanks for the replys, im going to head to the LGS this weekend and see if i can talk them down to around $375, its been on their shelf for 2 or 3 months now so wish me luck

Best of luck, Davinman

Pawn shop owners are some of the most motivated sellers out there, so appear confident and firm.

And look for any bargaining chip as well... hints of rust and/or rust coverup, loose springs, even side/frame play as owner might not know that some play is fine. anything really even finish wear that you are fine with.

In great shape like that with the original factory box and an extra magazine, etc. I'd go $500 easy. Best opportunity I've had so far was a decent one (not quite perfect, but still pretty decent) with no box and no spare magazine which I could have bought at one point for $450+Tax.

I probably should have snagged it that day, but I thought I could do better or maybe wear the dealer down over time. Instead, the crusty old shop's owner eventually raised the tagged price and that was that. :p At the higher asking price it was no bargain. I could easily have done as well or better on that well-known gun auction site. :)

Since then, I've kind of re-thought the CS45 and re-prioritized it a bit downward. It's still on my "short" Want List, but tight money and other interesting possibilities have knocked it out of my Top 3.
