I just wanted to compliment S&W for a fast turnaround on my 642. Sent it in per instructions on a Wednesday and got it back on the following Tuesday. It only needed a new firing pin but still it didn't sit around for three weeks or longer.

I've said it before,so I'll say it again, and not just cause this is a SW Forum.

Their Customer Service is great. Not only in repair turn around but in answering questions, ordering parts (sometimes you even have to pay for them:)) and their general attitude of being helpful.
They are very, very busy, available until 8pm and are always polite.

Hmm, I just sent my Sigma in on Monday for a trigger job and they got it on Wednesday. I wonder when I will get my baby back!

I sent it in this week BTW
 
I called 2 weeks ago looking for a red insert for my 696, that someone had changed to night sights. The rep told me that he couldn't provide me with one, but advised me to hang on while "I check something". He comes back on and says that he's sending the whole sight out right now. I ask "how much"? He says "no charge". I received it 2 days later. They have the best customer service, not just in the gun industry.
