Doesn't matter. They are straight pins that are a press fit.
I agree. I'm presuming you mean the pin retaining the hammer fly (double action sear).

We were taught at S&W, everything is installed from right to left. So, uninstall, left to right. This is with the barrel facing perpendicular from you.
Does it really make a difference, try and find out, but I wouldn't, cause I always follow directions.
