Post-war, 3rd Model Smith & Wesson K-22, mfg 1957 just prior to S&W changing over to Model Numbers. Caliber is .22 LR. Revolver features a 6" pinned barrel, 6-shot recessed cylinder, wood grips, adjustable rear sight, case hardened and serrated trigger and case hardened hammer. Right side of Frame: MADE IN U.S.A. over MARCAS REGISTRADAS over SMITH & WESSON over SPRINGFIELD, MA. Logo is on right side frame on Side Plate. Serial number K289253: Bottom of Grip Frame; back Cylinder face; underside of "star" Extractor. Frame flat where Yoke meets is stamped a P over assembly numbers. Left side of Frame under Grip Panel P; Right side of Frame under Grip Panel H 6 V It is in very good condition with some rubbed bluing on the outside of the muzzle, slight speckling on the ejector rod, and a few minor handling marks as shown in the photos. Lockup and timing are both excellent, bore is bright and shiny. Overall a beautiful example of this classic revolver. $995.00 + $45.00 shipping & insurance. Lower 48 only.
