More, I'm not sure of the rules here, but most forums won't let you sell things until you have been a member for some time.

What's the actual caliber? .38S&W or .38 S&W Special?
Beyond that, it has a lanyard loop (normal on Victory military models), but it has a badly worn nickel finish, which isn't normal. The flapped holster doesn't look GI. What was Mr. Bell's role in the service?
Maybe a closeup of the serial number (tape off some digits if that is an issue), and of the frame opening with the cylinder opened.
