S&W made PPK/S

Yep, and I think therein lies the issue with folks perception of newer production PPKs, failure to accept them for what they are and holding them to some arbitrary quality standard as if the only purpose it can serve is as a museum piece or a safe queen, meant to be admired rather than shot.

I have two S&W PPK/S's and they are fine. The sights are small (as are all versions) but they are very accurate and group well. Both came with the CT grips which is good for me and the small sights!

As for those who look down on the Smith Walthers I guess I really don't care. We are all free to like what we like and don't need someone else's approval. There are plenty of guns out there that I don't care for but when others say they like them that's OK with me. I don't need to validate my opinions by insulting others. Having said that I do appreciate the historical aspect of the originals.

Don't anyone blow a gasket but my 1911's have external extractors!!!

This is my first PPK/S bought when they came out and I believe made in Houlton ME. The other is a factory two tone currently in the possession of my son-in-law...he seems to have a fair amount of my stuff at his house!
