Hey guys, I just won an auction on Egunber and received a S&W model 19-2 in like new condition with the original Goncalo Alves Diamond target grips. Any idea how much this fine firearm is worth? No loss of blueing and just the faintest drag line, Excellent bore and rifling too!

What length barrel? Does it have the box, paperwork, and tools?

(You should ask a mod to move this to the revolver sub-forum.)

How much did you pay for it? If you bought it to flip, you'll likely be disappointed.

Post pics!

I am not looking to flip it. It was produced in 1963 according to the serial number. Just wondering how much it is worth. How do you post pics on here? I'm a newbie. It's very high polished bluing.

It's a 4" barrel, no box or paperwork. Very tight lockup and timing. Looks nearly new including the Diamond Goncala alves grips Looking to get a letter from the Smith and Wesson historical society letter for it.

You know this is posted in the M&P auto pistol section, right ?
Ask a moderator to move it to the revolver section.

It's worth as much as somebody is willing to pay for it. Having said that, the average selling price on GB for a model 19-2 without box and docs is around $650

There's one on auction right now with a 4" barrel and the bid is just about $1000 with box and tools.

Is that one that used to reside with you?

Yep. And its a nice one too. ;)

I saw another one of my guns show up here in the forum.

It nice knowing that there are a few folks out there that have ended up with some really nice S&Ws.

Thank you guys so much. I collect everything S&W! I just got a sweet S&W model 1000 Super 12 autoloading shotgun, looks brand new, just had to replace the piston shock absorber because those always go bad when people use solvents to clean the tube
