S&W Model 3000 Shotgun

My neighbor has passed away and I told his widow that I would sell his guns for her. I would like to get an idea of the value of a S&W Model 3000 Shotgun with rifle sights and parkerized finish. The gun is in excellent condition. Thanks.

I bought one with S&W side folding stock, parkerized, rifle sights,extended tube, in I would say good plus condition for $250 about 4 months ago.. I never priced them but I thought that 250 was a fair price.. That was from a gun store, OTD, so street price would probably be less..

I wouldnt go any higher than 250....the 3000 is sort of a metric scale copy of the Remington 870. You can still find a few accessories for them if you look...I scored a mag tube extension off of Gunbroker a few months back. I carry the 3000 in my patrol car every night.

They are wonderful shotguns. I'm holding onto mine. Why not give her a couple hundred bucks and keep it? Everyone needs a good riot gun. That's my 2 cents worth. Mike
