I stopped at a local pawn shop to browse a little on the way to my deer lease and lookie what I found!

It was priced lower than GI/GB's low average of $900 too.

I am geeked! I put it on layaway and will go pick it up next week. Now my K-22 has a stable mate. I put it in this section because it has a pinned barrel.

Nice revolver. SN puts it as 1980 production. Mine is 1981. Fun to shoot, but exceptionally loud, as the report is higher pitched than the larger centerfire calibers.

Mine has an 8-3/8" barrel. Reminds me, I need to get in some more Range time.

Nice! I bought mine in 2014 for $500, so I guess it's gone up in value. Nelson Ford added a gold dot to the Patridge sight and I put some target stocks on it. Love it and it shoots great. Like you, it's a brother for my 17s. Agree about the noise, but then I shot one of those KelTeks and now I think my 48 is relatively quiet. LOL

It's loud but if you run it next to a model 53, you'll think the model 48 is suppressed.
