Just got a like new S&W model 60-14. Can anyone tell me the difference in that and the 60-15?

Thanks!

According to the book, the 60-14 was a Ladysmith version with internal lock in 357 Mag - 2 inch. The 60-15 has the internal lock, 357 Mag with a 3 inch - target.

Hope this helps.

The 60-14s were both Lady Smiths and regular models. The Ladies had a satin finish and fancy wood grips. My 60-14, which I bought new a few years ago, was normal stainless with Uncle Mikes. The local gun store where I bought mine had a Lady Smith sitting next to it -- I remember admiring the wood grips, but I did not care for the satin finish.

Zeb: If you can post a photo that would be great. I have not seen any 60s with non-fluted cylinders -- that would be a great looking little gun.

Thanks,

Ash
