S&W Model 64-3

This is my first post so bare with me.
I inherited a Smith mod 64-3 from my father in law that i would rate a 9 out of ten only being it does not have the original grips. It has Pachmeyers. Serial number is 375XX.
Could you tell me DOB of this gun? Is this a desirable gun?
Thanks in advance. Can the original grips be aquired?

That is not a serial number that you posted. Look on the bottom of the grip or inside the crane.

On the bottom of the grip is AJZ1090. Thank You

Most likely 1985.
