Hello S&W Folk,
I carried my S&W Model 642 in an older Alessi Bodyguard Holster made for me personally by leather artesian Lou Alessi, now deceased. I had forgotten how concealable and comfortable this rig was until today. Ninety Degrees on my motorcycle and later that day to church with a polo shirt and an over shirt.
Just thought that I would give Ol-Lou a nod aloft!
Mike... :D

As a leftie finding a shoulder rig for my J frame can be a challenge. I've been searching for an old style upside down rig for quite awhile, knowing how well you can conceal under a light shirt. I had one that was lost after I retired from the PD and moved away.

Lou Alessi was a true craftsman.

Never met him in person but spoke twice on the phone with him some years ago when I was ordering an ankle rig for a Glock 26 and later a S&W 642.

Both rigs are still in use today, one by myself and the other by a co-worker who didn't mind the weight of the Glock on their ankle. Only the velcro has needed to be replaced on the original Glock model.

You could call him up, send him a personal check and get a product that would last for years.
