I'm a fan of "The Black List". Did anyone notice, in the latest episode, the revolver with which they were playing Russian Roulette? Looks to me like a second model S&W Schofield.

I noticed the revolver too, that it was a Schofield. Interesting pistol to use in a modern day TV show. You guys/gals have really sharp eyes. How do you manage to capture a screen shot off a TV show? Do you need really high tech equipment?

Thx

Charlie

Most network TV shows are available online a couple of days after they air. Find the show then pause on the scene you want and use the snipping tool to capture the shot.

Maybe we can start a support group for our poor wives who couldn't care less what firearm is used. But then they will be telling us about the name and personal life of the actors which results in the same degree of indifference on our parts. At least they don't have to freeze frame the show to do that. They can just talk over the top of the ongoing plot.

Indeed!... or discuss the architecture or landscaping. :p

What's a snipping tool?

What's a snipping tool?

It is a "Screen" or "Part" of a screen copy tool that first showed up in Windows 7. Allows you to copy an entire screen or let's you capture any part of the screen by clicking and dragging an area.

It was another follow Apple's lead and copy the Macintosh OS "Grab" tool.

Or you could pause the show, shift/print screen (without the printer being turned on), which saves it to memory, then paste it to MSPaint, then crop as needed to get what you want.

Can't you just freeze the screen, then Save the image to My Pictures and view it there, zooming larger as desired?
