Has anybody had any experience with this sixgun? I saw one today at a LGS and I'm infatuated with it. Should I be??? Looks like it was made for Thunder Ranch.

If you're a lightweight 45ACP revolver fan, then YES!

I bought a 625PC first as I had initially discounted the 325TR.

Then I got really into the Scandium framed revolvers & recently added this, & it's relative the 327TRR8.

I like the 325TR more than the 625PC but they're both fine revolvers. Too bad they aren't 5" though.

You can use moonclips, if you like, or without if you're shooting casual. I almost exclusively use 45 Auto Rims instead.

Lot better once you replace those horrible grips with some RB combat in wood. Smith sure cheapened their guns with those 10 cent things.

I am a BIG fan of the 625's. I have a 625-6 with 5" barreland a 625-8 JM Special with 4" barrel. I have Red Dots on both of them due to age related
vision problems.

I shoot only my own cast bullets. When I use ACP cases, I prefer the RIMZ Hydrocarbon/Polymer clips. They are easily loaded without tools, hold the cartridges securely, and with properly shaped bullets load SLICK AS ****!

The rubber Hogue (RB-SB conversion) grips are on every revolver that goes to the range with me as they're what I prefer.

I've got numerous Badger grips, for special occasions, but not for "work".

Now the "clown grips" they put on the 625PC are hideous. I hide them.
