If they would just make their pistols as easy to take down as the Sigs are I would be a confirmed S&Waholic.

Do you mean "as quick," or "as easy?"
I do not find field strip on any S&W auto to be problematic. There are certainly more steps to the field strip of a 3rd Gen Auto or a 1911, but they are not difficult or complicated.
