S&W Victory Target

Form a hobby-est point of view, it's a super fun gun. Very accurate compared to me. I shot high at first and adjusted the sites. Mine is a beast. 2 FTF in probably more to a thousand rounds on 25 year old Blazer ammo. Easy to clean and hardly seems to be get dirty. Both failures were due to obvious separation of the bullet from the case.

Excuse my ignorance but is there a difference between the regular Victory model and a target model? If not, I bought a "regular" Victory when my granddaughter told me she wanted to learn to shoot. She loves it and everyone that has shot it does too. It's accurate, fun to shoot, and has great sights. I'd recommend it for anyone who wants to teach a newcomer the basics and simply wants to enjoy some plinking whenever they want. It was a great investment for me.

Standard Victory 22 here. Initially I had a problem with the barrel screw loosening, I installed an o ring under the screw and solved the problem. It has a good trigger and the front sight really stands out. Plenty accurate as a starter bullseye gun. The only issue with FTE was when I mixed some subsonic CCI with standard velocity. I use it in a local club ipsc style match.

Doesn't appear to be much difference between the original SW22 Victory (#108490) and the basic Target model (#11536). Although the description says the Target has a bull barrel, it looks the same, has a "custom polished feed ramp", "beveled magazine well", and basic black notch & post sights vs. the fiber optic sights on the standard model. For a MSRP difference of $13, I wouldn't expect there to be much difference between the two.

My wife has one of the original SW22 Victory pistols, and after tweaking the ejector tab to solve the jamming problem (thanks to finding the solution on this forum!) it has performed without problem. It shoots well, has "just right" FO sights, and has a somewhat skinny grip. Nice gun.

Old Cop, if you call S&W customer service they will send you a new improved takedown screw free of charge and you can do away with the O ring.
