Found this in the 5 dollar bin at Walmart in Bullhead City. My daughter loves the Popeyes fro the 30s and 40s....there is hope for these kids afterall.

I love the so-called "war effort" cartoons, those produced during WW2. The Japs always had glasses and buck teeth, Mussolini weighed about 400lbs and Hitler was always screaming.
don't you just love them, if that was tried today the uproar would be heard around the world. just remember the mohamed cartoon a few years ago and the **** cried then.

Betty Boop was visually based on those two. The character's voice was first performed by Margie Hines, and was later provided by several different voice actresses including Kate Wright, Ann Rothschild (a.k.a. Little Ann Little), Bonnie Poe, and most notably, Mae Questel who began in 1931 and continued with the role until 1938.
