I'll be in San Antonio for the gun show on March 24-25. Are there any good gun stores in San Antonio I should look up while I'm there?

I don't know our table number, but if any readers are going to attend, come by and say hello. Our table will have a sign that says "Wanted, Mauser Pistols" with the Mauser logo. My partner collects Mauser pocket pistols. If you see the sign and there's only one of us there, I'm the younger (78 vs 89), taller, fatter, balder and uglier.

Whenever I'm in San Antonio I visit Dury's Gun Shop. They have been around since the 1950's. They sell in store and on several of the gun sites. I haven't been over that way for a while but they used to be open 9-6 weekdays and 9-1 on Saturday.

I went to Nagel's Gun Shop in San Antonio last year about this time. Nagel's has been in business since late forties I think. He has lots of guns and stuff. Just google the name for the address.

Being a San Antonio resident, I look forward to the gun show at the Freeman because it brings new blood to town a couple of times a year.

Dury's is a good shop. Nagel's has a lot of used guns, but their prices are very "optimistic." The Powder Horn is another good shop, but they don't usually have much used stuff.
