San Antonio PD guns

Anyone know which pistols are issued/authorized for SAPD and sheriffs?

I think the current issue firearm is the M&P 40.

Back in the 60s, the SAPD issued M-58 41 Magnums.

I'm in San Antonio and always try to peep officers' guns and they're usually M&Ps, not sure the caliber.

SAPD uses M&Ps in .40 S&W. Before that they used Glock 22s in .40. I don't know what the Bexar County Sheriffs Office uses, but I think Glocks. I imagine you could just call the BCSO and ask. I don't think that is secret information.
