I have been so absorbed in the Boston issues, I forgot until just now that on April 21, 1836 the Battle of San Jacinto occurred and Texas won its independence for Mexico. To my fellow Texans and Americans... Happy San Jacinto Day!.

I go by regularly there and take our visitors and kids to Battleship Texas and to San Jacinto . I also go by the Alamo for a moment anytime I am near there too.
