Howdy,

Here's the deal: I've Google'd my little heart out to find information on Sanderson grips and all roads lead here, so you guys are stuck with me.......for a while. ;)

I have a pair of Sanderson's for a K-frame and I'd like to get one of those 'on-line appraisals' of their worth.

Here's why:
A good friend is headed off to Africa on a mission tour. A group, what lets me hang about, is in the process of a fund-raising effort for this mission. I'd like to get a fair valuation of these grips in order to set a fair starting price for the fund raiser.

Feel free to bally-hoo my photographic skills or ask for additional views if either may help.

Here's a description:
K-frame, square butt. Coupla very small dings, ~1/16", on the thumb-rest and a very few others on assorted high spots. Somewhere in their previous life, an owner relieved some material between the trigger guard and the grip---maybe 1/16" total depth. This has been blended in a bit but I know it's there.

Here's a few pics:

This last view, by the way, is without a grip screw so they are just 'standing proud'....no warpage.

Any help establishing a value is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Hoot

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not sure a local fundraiser is the right venue to maximize return on those. On ebay, I would expect them to bring between $100 and $200.

If you put them on ebay you must explain the history of Sabderson grips if you want to see real money. I picked up a set on ebay two weeks ago for $19.99 because the guy did not explain a thing. I was the only bidder. A lot of people are going crazy for "factory grips".
