Satisfied with BG 2.0

I’m 64, on my 12th gun in 2 years looking for the perfect EDC which I know doesn’t exist but the journey is fun.

Guns owned up to this point in order below:

Glock 19
Glock 42
Hellcat Pro
Bul Armory SASII UL 3.25
P365X
AF S151911
P938 Legion
FN Reflex
Walther PDP F 3.5
LCP Max
Hellcat OSP
Bodyguard 2.0

After carrying the BG 2.0 for 3 months, handling micro 9s now in my LGS seem crazy big. Guess I’m a BG 2.0 guy until S&W comes up with 3.0 model!

I was looking at Shield Plus as my first S&W gun but went with BG 2.0.

I too like the Shield Pluses - I've got three. But for concealed carry, it's hard to beat the 9 Shield PC M2.0. I prefer it over my Bodyguard 2.0. It's not as easy to conceal, but I know I can depend on it, especially with hollow-point ammo.

I like mine, but I started to gather up a "collection" of the EZ series and recently got an EZ 380 that I think I like a little better. The BG is a little small in my hands vs the EZ and I shoot it (the EZ) better.

I'm not getting rid of the BG-2 though.

I love the BG 2.0 for what it is.

I don't enjoy shooting it the way I do my other handguns, it's just too darn small. But, that's the very feature that ensures it a long term place in my carry rotation. It's small enough and light enough to carry it when a larger firearm just doesn't fit.

Fun gun for me at 15 yards, I shoot a minimum of 250 rounds each session!

The BG 2.0 has totally spoiled me. I bought a Sig P365 two years ago for carrying and I thought it was small and compact but the BG has made it feel like an absolute brick.

I called them yesterday and was told Model R3D2.0 will be available 12/31/24.

Model DXTPro Big Dots will be available 02/2025.

Which model are you considering - I'm curious?
