I have a savage 110 action that i have bought brand new unfired.I am going to put a shaw barrel in 280 rem.My question is i have 4 savages this one looks different on the back.all my others have a spacer in front of the bolt handle this one has no spacer should i call Savage about this observation? thans bdm

What actions and calibers are the other 3?
Before Savage came out with the Model 10 short action , they simply used spacers on the Model 110 long action used for short cartridges.
