SC governor disappears...Odd?

I wish more of them would do that! :D

For crying out loud, a governor is about as expendable as any other low-level public official - though I do hope nothing tragic has happened to the man. If any sort of emergency develops and the governor cannot be reached, surely the Lt. Gov could step in.

Having said that, the man must have some wild kids! He looks a bit old for that! :D

I guess those ad's in the back of S.O.F. magazine are really true? You can change your identity apparently, even when your in the public eye?
Could he be in the witness protection program?
I'll gladly give the state our governor too!
 
The governor's office issued a statement Monday afternoon: "Gov. Sanford is taking some time away from the office this week to recharge after the stimulus battle and the legislative session, and to work on a couple of projects that have fallen by the wayside. We are not going to discuss the specifics of his travel arrangements or his security arrangements."

I don't blame him.
 
Can you see if he'd take ours with him? Timmy needs to decide whether he's Gov or the DNC chairman.

I'm proud to have a Governer who will take off to the mountain trails to restore himself without an entourage to "keep him safe".Not like Jimmy Carter who was rescued from an enraged rabbit.
Actually I was hoping Obama had asked him to come to Washington to help him out of his mess.
We need more fiscally responsible people in Government.Someone once said the only time you can relax is when all the politicians have left DC

Looks like the Democrats are already gearing up for the next presidential election. If this had been anybody else, no note would have been made of it. This guy is a prime candidate for the next election and has opposed Obama's plans. Obama's well-oiled political machine is at work. You don't get elected in Chicago by being on the defensive. The media likes to portray Obama as being laid back. I think he is a veritable Tazmanian Devil in the political world. His political machine will steam-roll over anyone or anything in their way.
 
Latest word is that he has confessed to being "involved" with another woman for several years. Apparently he is going to divorce his wife and resign. Go figure.

Well if I'm going to sneak off to South America to be with my girlfriend you can bet your backside that I'm gonna come up with a better story than "I'm hiking in the woods by myself for six days" :)
And hey...at least he didn't do it on the state's nickle :D
 
A morally bankrupt politician that married money to establish himself,cheated, and is now the remorseful crybaby.SC,and his wife, are better off without him.
