As title says, what do need to look for. I think I found one today. It had some type of bone grips, not stag. A beat up Marbels bead sight. Some pics if you guys have one might be helpful. Depending on what you say, will help me decide whether or not to pursue the one I saw today. Priced at what I think is rather high 900 bucks.

You need to look for another gun. No way it's a $900 gun, with a beat up sight and non-factory grips. Are you sure it's a factory target model and not after market sights installed on a standard service model? Ed.

It looks original, just like pics above, with exception of the grips. Same barrel length, same sights.

In the condition you describe,$900 is way too much. Be patient, one will come along. They aren't all that rare. I bought this one from a forum member for considerably less than that.

The condition of the one I saw was less than DWalt's revolver. The front sight looks like someone tried to alter it with a pliers. I may go back and snap some pics of it. How hard would it be to replace the front sight?
