Hey, I am new to the forums and I have owned a SD40 for a few months now. I been doing research on holster and upgrades but I am kinda coming up empty. I seen a few posts about different holsters that fit but not really any that work with the tactical light.

Does anyone know if this will fit and if it will work any good. seems like an odd setup for a holster but I know this company has a good reputation.

Sorry in advance I know some people are going to get upset since this isn't the first thread about this.

Fobus makes a quality holster bottom line. Although they may not have a holster that you are looking for. I would say shop a few local gun shops in your area, and try on some different ones. If they don't let you try them on take your business elsewhere.

My Safariland ALS holsters for M&P with TLR-1 also work with my SD9 with TLR-1. Although it is a little more snug with the SD9. Even the retention system locks on tight.

I would not recommend that Fobus holster for any kind of serious gun work. Maybe for range use.

Yeah I am mainly looking for a holster for the range so I don't need to leave it sitting on a table while I walk down range or change targets and things like that. I don't need it to carry or anything like that because the great state of NJ does not allow it lol

I prolly should of specified that in OP. sorry about that.

Go to High Noon holsters, their making holsters for the sd series. Very well made holsters too.

Wow they look like some high quality holsters. Little pricey but for genuine leather that is not a bad deal at all. I wish they sold one that would fit with the light tho seems they all work without accessories. But I think I might get one of those for my 92fs. Thank you for that site.
