SD40VE IWB HOLSTER OPTIONS

So I've searched and read quite a bit trying to find a good one. I like the Versacarry because it seems simple and effective, but after reading what a few on here had to say about the lack of a trigger guard on a striker fired pistol, the Versacarry is starting to rub me the wrong way. I saw the Aliengear and like those but I just can't make up my mind. I'm not made of money so I don't want to be buying holsters that just don't cut the mustard. What would be the hands down best IWB for a striker fired pistol?

I'm in the same boat as you with my SD9VE. I decided to try the Alien Gear, and the Raw Dog to see which seems to work best. I too am prioritizing trigger protection, along with concealability and comfort. I'll let you know here how I make out. Both seem to have good reviews, without breaking the bank.

Well now that Texas has passed the open carry, I'm almost considering going that direction. But on the other hand I might keep it hidden to keep idiots off my case.

I'm happy to give you some good news with the holsters I decided to try. Both are very comparable in most respects. The Raw Dog is a little simpler to put on, having only one belt clip, but I'll give the Alien Gear a slight edge for a few reasons. First, the kydex covers the entire barrel, which is better both for comfort, and protecting the firearm from sweat. Second, the larger design spreads the weight around my entire hip. It's so comfortable that it's no worse than carrying a wallet. The neoprene liner also breathes very well in the heat. Both arrived very quickly, (had both within two weeks, Raw Dog just over a week). I'm using the Alien Gear as my main, and the Raw Dog as a good backup.

Love my Alien Gear for my SD40VE as well...and, I know what you are saying about slowly acquiring an entire dresser drawer full of holsters...Gets expensive. Here is my kt...
