Been a while but have some updates. Sold my old SD40VE and finally upgraded to an M&P9c. Long story short my car was stolen along with my brand new gun :( Decided to buy another SD40VE since I like it and had a lot of range time. Installed Talon rubber grip, Apex springs, and a TLR-3. I have to say I REALLY like it now!

,
Looks great
How much was the light ?
I am looking for a stainless steel light to go on a stainless steel gun , I have looked all over

I picked it off eBay barely used for 60$ free ship. Seems perfect for the sd.

Love mine how accurate is your laser sights and do you have readjust them often?.....also have you been able to find a good conceled IWB holster for this?

I take it your talking about the dovetail sights and from factory seems real accurate and sturdy but like all guns you have to compensate a little. As for an IWB I have no idea, I know there's some out there for the M&P that should fit. I use the Fobus SWMP paddle holster without the light. Awesome holster for the price, under $30 from most stores.

She does looking solid, well done. I did the Talon grip also and love it. Leaving my sights alone since it nearly perfect shot groups. Working on the trigger and a little polishing to fine tune the action. SD is a stellar weapon.

I haven't done any polishing yet at it still has a little bit of gritty feeling to it but overall a good upgrade. I'm use to to the stock trigger though so for me it feels extremely light lol. For the light and everyone interested the TLR-3 needs the E adapter to fit. So if anyone buys the light used make sure it includes that adapter or it will be pretty far from the trigger.

That looks like a SW VE not a SD VE, the SW you will need this adapter...

Gotcha MH, why did SW put there own proprietary rails where nothing fits like all others? Thanks for your help, shoot straight.

Ditto

Finished my upgrades to the 40, with Talon grips, Aimsports 150 lum and the Apex trigger kit/springs and trigger & minor polishing. For a buck-fifty used from a co-worker, Im happy with the shot groups 2-3in. damn near center mass at 10yds. No problems at all, solid home defense. PS
