So we had our annual local winter show this weekend. -15 below zero so what better thing to do than go to the show. It was OK, smaller that what I am used to in its peak, missing a few of the local dealers, not a lot of revolvers or old Smiths, mostly the usual Glocks and AR's and 1911. Prices are always kind of high up here for Smiths, saw several model 36's all over $575 some as high as $795. Saw model 10's for $500 and others like the model 27 are hitting $1000. Crazy.

One other thing I noticed was the crowd. A few woman, some kids, but mostly gray older gentlemen. Kind of makes me concerned about the future. With out a younger diverse crowd gun enthusiast will have a hard time. Less demand, less voice, ect.

Down my way, its much better diversity-wise. Here I mostly see younger than I folks, some older folks, more 1st timers, more ladies. It used to be few younger than I, more older than I, and no ladies unless one was in tow? or was eye candy. I've noticed more ladies also selling at shows--and not just trinkets and food and such.
