Actually all new browsers supposed to have setting "Do not track" and websites supposed to honor it. So technically you can check that flag in your privacy settings and use any search engine. Unfortunately there's no enforcement. I've tried to use other engines than google, but results were really poor.

Bling.....uh, Bang....no, BING?!

I've heard people say they like Bing and didn't like Googles political slant. What do people think is best next to Google??

I'm partial to Dogpile. I've used it forever. For me, I can find stuff there that I can't find on Google or some of the others. Plus no tracking. No popup junk.
