Seeking your guidance on Custom Backstrap / Slide

Hello Friends!

A few months ago I purchased a M&P 9 Compact as my EDC/conceal carry sidearm. So far I've been really enjoying it. I love everything about it. It currently looks like this out of the box:

I'm reaching out to the community to seek your advice and opinions on what my options are for further cosmetic customization.

1) Backstraps - I've searched everywhere for custom medium size backstraps for this gun, but so far have only been able to find ones that fit the full size M&P 9. I have not been able to find any backstraps that fit the M&P 9c, aside from black ones. I'm specifically looking for a backstrap in FDE to match the rest of the frame. Can you suggest any vendors that offer this?

2) Slide - while I really enjoy the look of the gun (black slide with FDE frame) I've been contemplating what the gun might look like with a FDE slide or even a camo pattern. Is this something I would be able to purchase or would I need to take my gun somewhere where they would be able to apply a coat to it?

In the end I would love to end up with something along these lines

Welcome to the forum. I think that you will have to deal with a company which cerakotes pistols to achieve the look that you desire. There are many out there to choose from.
